Warehouse Team Leader
We are currently looking for a warehouse team leader at our client based in Isleworth
Duties and responsibilities:
Ensuring the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods.
Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
Generating paperwork and labels, printing the same for both goods inbound and outbound.
Using WMS system for processing the goods, updating details
Taking delivery of shipments, checking goods for damage or missing items and storing warehouse goods in an organised manner.
Printing and assisting with operations paperwork when required (holiday, absence, back to work process)
Prepare & follow daily plan to complete at least 98%.
Track & trace daily work plans.
Keep track of warehouse team attendance Assist in dealing with Employee issues - details on the employee handbook
Following Health and Safety procedures.
Managing the ETSF area Applying company policies & procedures and responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the team, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in team management
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment would be beneficial
- Familiarity with logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Experience working with warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of business processes related to warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Current working hours : will be a 4 on 4 off 12 hours shift between 7am and 12am , the exact working hours to be confirmed after a successful interview.
The first 3 months are probationary period.
Pay: From GBP28,000.00 per year
