Warehouse Forklift Operative
This role is to support the day to day warehouse and fork lift operations for all freight & stock arrivals and departures.

Key duties and responsibilities:
· Ensure all equipment and areas of the warehouse are clean, tidy and orderly.
· Assist with load and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods.
· Quality - Ensure the inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances to the Warehouse Manager.
· Raise concerns/issues with Warehouse Manager as soon as they are noted.
· Booking in of all incoming stock and storing in a safe manner. Ensuring these are put in the correct locations.
· Order Picking and packing - Pick and prepare products for shipping, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
· Warehouse security - keeping warehouse secure, reporting any discrepancy in stock to the Warehouse Manager and warehouse never left unattended when shutters are open.
· Assisting in all warehouse roles, not just one primary role.
· Flexibility with hours to suit the company requirements.
· Ad hoc driving of company van for local deliveries and collections.
Person Specification:
· IT/Computer Literate - Essential
· 3PL Experience - Essential
· Reach and Counterbalance experience
· Full clean driving license - Essential
· Can provide constructive feedback.
· Is regarded as a team player.
· Takes responsibility for developing their own ability.
· Delivers their tasks and processes with limited oversight from management.
· Pro-actively identifies improvements to processes and promotes them to the wider team.
· Is able to manage their time.
Shift: Monday- Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: GBP25-28k
