First Choice Staff are currently recruiting on behalf of an established global freight forwarder, who are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join their fast-paced team.
Salary
GBP26,000 + GBP2000 shift allowance
Shift Structure
Monday to Friday
14:00pm - 22:30pm
Requirements:
Must have at least a years warehouse experience
Must have Reach FLT licence or Counterbalance FLT license is required - both would be preferred.
Candidate will require Aviation Security Training cargo operative level as minimum.
Must have a clean 5-year checkable history.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Receiving freight, putting freight away, picking freight, despatching, and labelling in accordance with set requirements of each customer, mode and compliance with rules and regulations. Container / general vehicle loading / unloading Administration of inbound and outbound orders.
Physical Receiving, Pick, Pack, and Inventory Control
Ensure compliance with all ISO, company, and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security, health and safety and dangerous goods handling.
GDP training to be completed as detailed in the GDP training matrix
Job Function:
Control of all goods received, handled, and despatched throughout the warehouse and transport system, with special emphasis to compliance and accurate labelling of all goods.
Ensure compliance with all ISO, company, and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security, health and safety and dangerous goods handling.
Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies, and incidents are acted upon effectively and reported to supervisor.
Ensure that all damage, discrepancies, service failures and incidents are acted upon effectively.
