Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Large company in Quedgeley are looking for a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that movement and handling of customers goods daily, based within the warehouse.  You will be working on a 37.5 hour week, working from 7.30am till 3.30pm Monday to Friday.   Rate of pay is £13.68ph based on a temp to perm basis plus holiday pay.

Job Purpose:

*To carry out warehouse duties within timeframes stated by company.

*To carry out all special instructions as noted on receipt of goods or instructions from     Logistics team leader

*To ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements.

*To provide a professional and effective service to the customer.

*Complying with local legislative requirements & company Policies and procedures.

*To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.

*Supervising of loading and unloading of trucks.

*Scanning of freight into and out of the warehouse.

Person Specification:

• ADR / Hazardous awareness would be advantage but can be looked at down the line with the company

• Good timekeeping

• To be fit and healthy

• Warehouse Experience

• CRB Requirement (police check)

• 5 Year work history

 Looking to start in September
