We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit a Trainee Key Account Operations Coordinator.
This is a supportive role which will enable to provide a smooth and professional sales service for building strong relationships with current and potential customers.
Role Involves:
· Understand and execute the departments vision of good business development to successfully deliver sea freight operations for the customer account.
· Accurately enter the job information into the company system upon receipt of orders.
· Verifying all documentation, such as invoices, packing lists and Dangerous Goods Notes are accurate and complete.
· Identify and inform relevant parties are notified of any discrepancies within the documentation or cargo.
· Ensure cargo is received in good orders and meets standards and regulations within the SOP.
· Monitor the discrepancies and ensure all are resolved with a reasonable timeframe.
· Maintain communication with internal teams, the customer and their suppliers.
· Coordinate with suppliers to schedule collections and deliveries with the window stated.
· Data Entry.
· Keep up to date and accurate records of all logistics and job activities, including current discrepancies and progress.
· Generate reports require to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
· Update the operational Purchase Order Management system.
· Always maintain and utilise the operational system.
· Follow the Clients SOP in relation to the customer accounts.
· Always maintain excellent customer and inter-departmental relationships giving regular feedback to line Manager.
Experience needed. · Proficient on MS Office good Excel.
· Be able to prioritise and organise own workload with attention to detail.
· General understanding of logistics processes and procedures advantage.
Hours 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday,
