Our client is looking for a Roadfreight Operator
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Planning own fleet of vehicles and subcontractors in UK and Europe
Dealing with Subcontractors and Overseas Agents
Obtaining Rates and Pricing Customs
Customs Entries Imports , Exports and Transit Movements
Booking Ferries and Vehicle Crossings
Build up good working relationships with new and existing Customers
Other Ad-hoc tasks and General Admin Duties where required.
Skills Required
Experience in European Freight is Preferred
Customs Experience is Essential
Must exhibit good communications skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional and polite manner
Able to be on video conferencing daily to liaise between UK and Spanish offices
The hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm
Salary cGBP30K
