First Choice Staff is recruiting for a proactive and detail-orientated Production Progress Chaser to manage and action work orders for an established employee-focused manufacturing company situated in Feltham.
Salary
GBP25,000 (OTE up to GBP40,000 p.a.)
Role and Responsibilities
· To plan and schedule work in advance so that parts are ready at the point of use when needed.
· Liaising with the relevant Team Leaders to progress orders through the correct routes to ensure parts are supplied to assembly to meet delivery dates.
· To liaise with Team Leaders and the production office on the correct recording of material requisitions, drawing and planning issues.
· Liaison with all Company Departments involved, including Procurement, Stock Control, Production Control, Costing, Production Engineering, Quality, Development, Manufacturing and Sales.
· Planning routings, bills of materials, issuing works orders.
· Working with Subcontractors to ensure jobs are sent and received on time.
· Reviewing systems, procedures, and operations to maintain continuous improvements in production efficiency.
· Any other duties determined by the Production Manager.
Requirements
· Background in Mechanical Resource Planning is advantageous
· Mechanical engineering background is advantageous
· To be capable of working in a production, process driven environment
· A good ability to use outlook and excel, and generally well versed in using computer systems to manage stock and jobs.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· A confident and effective problem solver and decision maker whilst working under pressure.
