Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager
Multi Modal, Air, Road and Sea
Must be career driven as there is potential to be a promotion to Director level
Overseeing upto to 10 opearational staff and 5 Drivers
The role involves:
* Strong Operational and Commercial experience in both Import and Export operations, including Customs.
* Organise and oversee the daily operations including Transport, Export and Import department.
* Able to mentor, train and develop the team of 4 staff.
* Customs and compliance experience, responsible for internal controls and able to communicate updates to both staff and clients.
* Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to build new and existing client relationships working with the Business Development manager.
* Proven ability in cost saving and rates negotiation.
Monday to Friday with flexibility for some out of hours and weekends when needed
