Paying £30,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Monday to Friday, based in Birmingham.

Freight Forwarding experience required.

We are seeking an Ocean Import Operator to join our client’s busy, expanding Ocean Import division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Ocean Import Operator to join one of the largest privately-owned Freight Forwarders, who offer ongoing training and career progression. 

We are looking for a candidate with experience of working in Ocean Import operations, with excellent customer service and communication capabilities. 

Duties will include:

• Handling shipments through from taking bookings, to arranging the delivery of freight to its final destination.
• Completing customs clearances.
• Processing shipping documentation.
• Tracking and tracing freight.
• Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers and customers, ensuring to always offer the highest level of customer service. 
• Completing all Freight administration.
• Resolving any customer service issues or enquiries in a timely, professional manner.
