Ocean Freight Operator 

Paying up to £33,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Based in Tamworth.

Hybrid working (once a week from home). 

We are working with an established Freight Forwarding organisation who are looking to recruit an Ocean Freight Operator to join their growing ocean department. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling FCL and LCL Ocean Freight shipments, across imports and exports, from start to finish.

Duties of the Ocean Freight Operator will include: 

• Providing quotations.
• Making bookings.
• Raising Export/Import shipping documentation, ensuring it is correct and present.
• Completing all customs entries and clearances.
• Arranging collections and deliveries with carriers.
• Liaising across all parties, such as customers, shipping lines, carriers, hauliers etc.
• Billing out files and invoicing.
• Responsible for all file administration and customer service.

This role requires a candidate with previous experience of working in Ocean Freight operations, with experience in both Import and Exports.
