Nights Warehouse Operative (Tue-Sat)

First Choice Staff are looking for a Nights Warehouse Operative to join a busy team based in Slough.
This is on a temp to perm basis.

Salary:
Temporary: 13ph

Permanent: GBP30,000.00 pa

Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday
8pm - 5am

General Duties & Responsibilities:

· Process all Import & Export consignments.

· Preparation of temperature-controlled packaging solutions from our onsite inventory.

· Selection & preparation of temperature loggers & GPS trackers from our onsite inventory in conjunction with client requirements.

· Shared responsibility for the cleaning, re-stocking & system updates associated to & required for the re-usable packaging inventory.

· Loading & unloading of vehicles both manually & using the onsite forklift.

· Shared responsibility of departmental mailbox, to include the receipt of new packaging bookings and internal queries.

· Dealing with telephone & email enquiries from internal & external departments accurately and efficiently.

· To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management including assisting other departments during staff shortages.

Knowledge / Requirements:
· Counterbalance Forklift License.
· 5 Year checkable history & In date DBS.
· Warehouse / Freight experience.
· Experience of handling temperature controlled & time critical consignments.
· Specialist (Life Sciences / AOG) Courier Operations Experience.
· Comprehensive understanding of the various temperature-controlled packaging solutions available on the open market to forwarders.
· Comprehensive understanding of Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.
