Job Title: Night Warehouse Operative
Salary: GBP29,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts - Nights)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Experienced Night Warehouse Operatives to join our clients growing team in a busy airfreight/freight forwarding warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role, ideal for individuals with strong experience in freight handling, who are comfortable working night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Efficient handling and movement of airfreight cargo in line with company procedures and aviation regulations
· Loading and unloading of vehicles and ULDs
· Ensuring accurate picking, checking, and storage of goods
· Completing all relevant documentation and system updates for inbound and outbound freight
· Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
· Complying with Health & Safety and security requirements, especially in an airfreight/secure warehouse setting
· Assisting with inventory checks and stock management tasks as required
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year experience working in a freight forwarding or airfreight handling warehouse
· Willingness to work night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off pattern
· Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
· Knowledge of warehouse systems and good IT literacy is desirable
· Forklift license (Counterbalance or Reach) preferred but not essential
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
· Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass a 5-year background check and criminal record check (as per aviation security regulations)
