Multi-Modal Import/Export Clerk ( Experience in all modes is not essential )

We have the opportunity for the right candidate to join a expanding company and are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced person to join our team.
Operating predominantly in the exhibition and event industry we are looking for someone with a can-do, proactive attitude to join our team in a high-pressure, hands-on environment providing our client base with a creative and result driven process.
Working to strict deadlines, liaising with suppliers, airlines and partners to co-ordinate time sensitive exports & imports with end-to-end responsibility (including quoting, collections, airline bookings, liaising with overseas agents/customers until delivered and invoiced).
Primary Roles:
· Airline/Ocean & Road bookings (experience in all not essential)
· Processing relevant import/export documentation including AWBs, B/Ls & CMRs,
· Submitting Import & Export Customs entries using CDS.
· Liaising effectively and building close relationships with our supply chain including shippers, importers, agents and clients.
· Proactive monitoring and updating of shipment progress to ensure the client is updated at all times
· Quotations, pricing and invoicing clients.

Requirements:
· Skills and experience: -
· Minimum 2 years experience in a start to finish role
· Customs entry experience
· Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
· Computer literate - high level on Microsoft Word/Excel.

Schedule:
· 8 hour shift - additional where req'd
· Monday to Friday - 09:00am - 17:30pm
· Weekend availability where required - On remote basis with equipment provided
Ability/Willingness to Travel:
· Scope to be able to travel within the UK and overseas to provide customer support where required - valid passport and driving licence required
