Paying £30,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

Monday to Friday, based in Birmingham.

Freight Forwarding experience required.

We are seeking an Air Import Operator to join our client’s busy, expanding Air Import division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Air Import Operator to join one of the largest privately-owned Freight Forwarders, who offer ongoing training and career progression. 

Duties will include:

• Handling all aspects of Airfreight Imports. 
• Taking bookings and enquiries.
• Liaising with customers, overseas offices and airlines.
• Receiving and processing Airfreight documents.
• Preparing Import customs clearances instructions.
• Arranging the delivery of Airfreight to its final destination.
• Resolving any issues that may arise with customer shipments and keeping them updated at all times regarding the status of their freight. 

We are seeking an experienced Air Import Operator who is able to work to tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a flexible mindset, with the ability to take on new tasks as and when required.
