Fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Supervisor to join this small team within this excellent Freight agent
Job Role: Accounts supervisor
Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary GBP26k - GBP28k + Perks
Fantastic Office location
Key Responsibilities:
Processing day-to-day transactions
Customer Accounts reconciliations
Performing customer credit checks prior to new bookings and providing customer credit limits along with ensuring the stay within their credit terms
Credit Control - reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment
Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required
Supplier Accounts reconciliations
Process supplier payments and any refunds
VAT Returns
Inputting company expenses
Accounting Supervisor Skills required:
Supervision and team leadership skills
Managing processes
Attention to detail
General math skills
Accounting skills
Experience in accounting software, specifically SAGE.
Time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Confidentiality and trustworthiness
Data entry management
Excellent communication skills
